Professional Development with EAS
Ever Active Schools offers a wide variety of professional development opportunities for school staff, health professionals, parents and essentially anyone who is interested in healthy active school communities! View the current school workshop offerings below or contact the office with a specific request. Handouts are available in the grey tabs to the left.
2011-2012 EAS Workshop Offerings
Ever Active Schools workshops are tailored for school, district or convention needs (e.g., grade level, intended audience, awareness of program of studies). Access these learning opportunities for professional development days, conferences, staff meetings or school council meetings. Costs are $250 for 90 minutes, $350 for a half day, or $650 for the full day plus GST and applicable travel and accommodation expenses from Edmonton or Calgary. Learning opportunities can also be designed to meet individual needs. Click the icon to the right to download the workshop offerings for 2011-2012.

The Health and Physical Education Council (HPEC) is a professional organization of teachers who advocate for quality health and physical education programs and provides professional growth and development of their members. HPEC is committed to providing leadership in creating healthy active school communities.
The Edmonton Regional Learning Consortium (ERLC) is one
of seven regional consortia in Alberta established to support
regional professional development needs for all those who influence
student learning. They work with schools, school authorities and
seven partner organizations to create professional development
opportunities in an ongoing, coordinated and cost-effective manner.
