Thank you to the Honourable Minister of Education, Dave Hancock,  for providing greetings to open the conference.

Ever Active Schools built upon the tremendous success of their first Health Promoting Schools conference by partnering with Physical and Health Education (PHE) Canada! The national conference, Shaping the Future 2011, is directed to anyone working or interested in health and wellness in schools. Participants can expect the following topics: Partnerships, Vulnerable Populations, Delivery/Implementation and Evaluation/Research.

The purpose of the conference is to bring together individuals from across the country who have a vested interest in the assessment, planning and implementation of Health Promoting Schools.  The focus of this event is to share Promising Practices  and provide opportunities for participants to network, learn, share and revitalize!

Thank you to the keynote speakers for their inspiring and empowering mesages.
