A teacher walked into our workshop, worn down by the hard year. They walked out energized and ready to bring new strategies back to their classroom.
The world of education and teaching has seen quite a bit of turmoil recently. Overcrowded classrooms, teacher burnout and changing curriculum, just to name a few, but what if they could be provided with ready-to-use tools to help alleviate that classroom stress? Bruce walked into an Ever Active workshop carrying a weight that far too many teachers do, tired, stressed and overall exhausted by the workload. The workshop began with games and interactive activities, and within minutes, the mood in the room began to shift.
Bruce began connecting with colleagues, relaxing and even laughing. The energy lifted, the tension eased, and moments of lightness and joy emerged in a season that had felt particularly heavy for many educators. Ever Active was not only able to provide new tools for Bruce to bring back to his classroom, but he also shared that he left the session “energized”. It was a powerful reminder that play, connection, and belonging matter for adults just as much as they do for young people.
Bruce’s story is not unique. Every day, educators show up to support children and youth while carrying the pressures and complexities of their own work. Ever Active cultivates connection, ignites hope and walks alongside teachers to provide ready-to-use strategies and resources needed to help every student thrive.
