Is my donation secure?
Yes, Ever Active partners with Canada Helps to collect donations, a leading national fundraising platform. CanadaHelps prioritizes the security of your donations. They comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and use Transport Layer Security (TLS) for secure online transactions. CanadaHelps also uses an Extended Validation Certificate to further ensure the privacy and security of your data.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, eligible donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt. If you donate through our online portal [HYPERLINK] you will receive a tax receipt through our fundraising platform partner, Canada Helps, a leading national fundraising platform. Offline donations will be receipted within 30 days and at latest by the end of the following quarter. Please include a full mailing address and an email address with your offline donation to receive a tax receipt. In the case of silent auctions, and in accordance with the CRA, tax receipts will only be issued for physical items donated at their retail values; services and gift cards are ineligible for tax receipts.
Can I make a monthly recurring donation?
Yes! Monthly donors provide reliable and sustainable funding to our organization, which makes a big impact on our ability to plan and design our support for the well-being of children, youth and their communities. Donate here.
